Welcome to Bowmore International Horse Trials held at Blair Castle in Perthshire.

The Event, which first took place in 1989, spans three days. This year, the event comprises both CCI** and CCN* competitions.

Dressage takes place on Thursday 21st & Friday 22nd, with Saturday the spectacular and challenging Speed and Endurance day, with Sunday 24th the climax, when riders showjump in reverse order of merit to decide the final placings.

Nowadays, the ability of the rider is as important as the qualities of the horse. Both horse and rider must be proficient here at Blair Castle.
