No. 17: Does your software calculate VAT/local taxes for facilities in different countries?
YES.
Space Manager provides the facility for calculating a
different rate of VAT on each item if necessary. Some items may be VAT exempt
and others may have a different rate of VAT. This flexibility allows a
completely automated system for VAT calculation, irrespective of the country,
item or local tax rate.
This screen
shot shows the configuration of the System’s Ledger codes. These codes are the
individual details and descriptions of all chargeable items. They include a
description, rate where appropriate, individual VAT rate and various other
information including the site at which the item is available (multi-site
installation).
