Space Manager for WindowsTM

FAQs

No. 23:                       Does your software allow for daily anniversary date contract period or only first day of the month contract periods?

BOTH.

Space Manager can accommodate any contract period. As well as daily anniversary or first day of the month contracts, individual contracts can be set to charge over any period from 1day to 1 year and beyond.

This screen shot shows how a user can set the date to which the initial invoice runs, for a new contract. This determines how the contract should be invoiced. This can, of course, be changed at any time during the life of the contract, simply by editing the contract details from the Contract Enquiry Screen.

If the ‘Initial Charge Until’ is set to the last day of a month and the invoice frequency of the contract is monthly, then the contract will invoice on the first day of the month. However, if the ‘Initial Charge Until’ date is left mid period, or the frequency is not monthly or a multiple of months, then the contract will generate an invoice whenever appropriate.

Please note that the user can set the number of days prior to the beginning of the next period to invoice, that the system should generate the next period invoice. This allows for in-advance invoicing and the number of days to bill in advance can be set for individual customers if required.
