No. 24: Does your software allow a new customer’s cheque to be validated and/or funds frozen in the customer’s cheque account until the cheque can be deposited?

The current BACS Direct Bank Transfer facility with Space manager can be used to ensure that funds are available by effectively giving the storage site operator access directly to the customer’s cheque account.

However, if your country’s system is different to the BACS system in use in Europe, we would be grateful to receive further information on the requirements for the interface.
