FAQs

No. 8:                         Does your software permit monitoring of customer retention after the implementation of rental rate increases?

YES.

As in the previous question, the monitoring of customer retention is simply the reporting of information, stored by the program, relating to or governed by, various conditions. Providing the information required for the analysis is stored in the database, the required analysis can be obtained.

In this instance, Space Manager records every amendment made to a contract in a Movements Log. This log would include, among other things, move ins and outs, contract detail changes and price changes. Producing the required report would simply require an analysis of contract movements in relation to contract price changes.

This screen shot shows the Contract Enquiry screen for a customer’s contract, showing the Movements List. This is an historical log in which all amendments to any part of the contract are recorded. Details include the item changed, what it was changed from and to and which user made the change.

As all this information is available, it would be a simple matter to use the supplied Report Builder interface and SQL to generate the report, or others like it. This required report could either be generated in-house or produced by RADicalIQX and emailed to the sites.

All Space Manager reports are stored as an RTM File. This is a text file that represents the recipe for the report. As it is text, it can be easily transferred from site to site by email or disc.
