No. 9: Does your software permit existing customers to make rent payments via the Internet using a credit card?

Space Manager has been designed as a Client/Server application with the client communicating with the server using standard, secured, SQL.

With this in mind, the program structure has been designed specifically for web integration. As the actual implementation of this interface may take a myriad of different forms, instead of producing a specific web interface which may not provide for a customer’s needs, we have instead generated a server database to which a web based client can easily be generated and connected.

This interface can be tailored to the operator’s specific needs and could include real-time units availability, real-time company wide on-line reservations, payments or even full customer account access. Potential web clients could be generated using Java, JavaScript/Html, XML, ASP etc.

A sample Browser based Space Calculator and real-time Unit Availability checker, written in ASP, is available to demonstrate the possibilities.
