Space Manager includes many additional features to aid in the running of each site and a storage company as a whole.

 

Searching for Information

 

Customers Searches, Reporting and Letters

 

Whilst the standard Space Manager Customer search allows a user to search for customers by Name, Unit number or a Transaction Reference Number, the program also gives the user the facility to search for customers using user-definable search criteria.

 

This criteria includes any element of the Customer Questionnaire and, via a dictionary of search criteria, any information stored within the database.

 

Complex searches can be created simply by dragging and dropping the required criteria onto the search form. A specific search’s criteria can then be stored to allow the same search to be loaded and run at a later stage. Even the results list can be stored for future retrieval

 

To search for a specific customer or list of applicable customers, the user simply selects the ‘Customers’ button on the main button bar. From there they can make simple searches on customer name, unit number or invoice number (for example) or complex searches by dragging and dropping criteria onto the search page.

 

Once a list of Customers has been obtained, the user then has the facility to manage their accounts, generate reports specific to the selected customers, or create mailings and emails to send to the customer list.
